Carvel of Avon

They sell gift cards. On two separate occasions i tried to simply use a gift card to buy a cake but was told the POS system is new and they dont know how to do it. Mind you these visits were weeks apart. Not sure how you can sell gift cards but be unsure how to use them, it just seemed Off. Will probably try other carvels

I ordered a cake for my dad's 90th birthday from this Carvel location. I picked it up a week later. Everything was as ordered and the whole process was smooth and simple.

Ugh, so sad to write this, but this location has gone drastically downhill under the new management. It’s become the most expensive ice cream option in town and the portions are smaller than ever. A kids cup or cone is actually just one bite. Rude service as well, would not recommend! So sad cause the former family that owned this location was so friendly and operated a great business!

They have mint soft serve ice cream and if that doesn't make you want ice cream that I don't know what will cuz that stuff kicks in a really good way.

Despite the fact that my area has Friendly's Ice Cream, Foster's Ice Cream and Dairy Queen (all wonderful brands), we seem to gravitate to Carvel. The store smells remarkable (no fried food smell), the sheer simplicity of the menu (ice cream, ice cream and more ice cream) and they have the best soft-serve. Plus 2 for 1 sundaes on Wednesdays makes it a irresistible destination.
