Carstens' Bakery

We love Carstens!!! Even their glazed donuts are fluffy and balanced to not be overly sweet, we try to stop by for a little treat frequently, their filled donuts are the real deal and always high quality ingredients, the closest in recipe to Krispy Kreme with better flavors and more balanced than just sugar. They often run low on weekends if you're not quick but usually have a few options left during weekdays by 11 am. Honestly my favorite bakery for yeast doughnuts

Carstens' Bakery is a great spot for fresh baked goods. The bread and pastries taste homemade and really flavorful. The staff are friendly, and the bakery has a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Friendly staff. Opens st 7:30. Serving raised donuts only. Donuts are $2 each. Bismarks etc. are $4 each. They are small and flat. If you are looking for fritters, cinnamon rolls, or chocolate cake donuts THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GET THEM. They make raised only.

If you want a maple bar, get there when they open because no joke people line up for these donuts! The Huckleberry will melt in your mouth. They are worth every penny! Cute little shop, it is small, so I dont recommend hauling your whole family in with you if it is busy, but it gives me the old shop feel, so I really enjoyed being there. Friendly welcoming people working here. Loved it!

We bought a chocolate birthday cake and it was honestly the most awful terrible cake I have ever ordered. The chocolate cake inside was dry and crumbly and I wasn't expecting chocolate fondant. We asked for buttercream frosting but got fondant instead. I would never order a cake from these people ever again. All the other stuff no problem but the cakes go somewhere else.
