Carroll County Public Library - Finksburg Branch

A gem in the community. Wonderful staff, friendly and clean atmosphere. A wide variety of books and other resources. Membership includes accessibility to a wide range of apps and features that keeps us entertained. Nicely manicured landscape and outdoor spaces. Hosts many community events with families in mind.

I love this library. They have Kindle ebooks and a 3D printer. The staff is super helpful. Also it's a poke gym

A great library! The design with high ceilings looks nice but the acoustics are too loud for a library making it hard to focus.

Such a beautiful library. I don't go here often - only to print things here and there, but the last time I went, I was overcome with such a strong sense of peace, tranquility, and nostalgia that I started to tear up lol. I wish I would go more often - even if to have a more productive day on my computer for work. Libraries in general offer a sort of refuge that is incomparable to most other places, public communal areas especially. This one in particular is outstanding. It is immaculately maintained, has an amazing layout, stunning modern architecture (especially for a local, rural area), and the staff is always friendly and accomodating. There is also never a shortage of events, I've noticed.

Great library with a good selection of books and other activities for younger children. There's also a lot of events held here as well. Good for children, but for chickens? Eh, not really. They have carpet flooring and very little greenery inside. But if you want a book like the library is supposed to be used for go ahead.
