Customer Reviews
Ordered the Taco Salad - which was decent. The restaurant is airy and well lit, with great views of the runway and aircraft in the pattern as well as the parking apron.
I ordered a blackened salmon platter. The salmon was very dry and hard. Let’s say it was overcooked, but the mashed potatoes and broccoli were excellent. And the upside down pineapple cake was great. I called and spoke to the owner Carol who was very rude. I originally asked to have the salmon replaced , but her attitude was rude so I requested a refund. When I arrived to her restaurant, I was floored. This lady rolled her eyes, her body gestures were on 1000, and her tone was as if I was a child. May God bless her and her restaurant. I will never spent a dime in there.
Some say the best gems are off the beaten path. Carol's is just what we needed on our visit to OC. You will be taken though a very old town on your way there. The town seems super run down but by the time you get to the restaurant, you'll be in heaven! I was so happy with the home style barn wood feel and cozy environment. Staff is extremely nice and we just felt at piece here. My egg scrapple sandwich was so good I got one to go! Five Stars *****
A bunch of us flew in from Essex Skypark on a Saturday morning. Seven in our party. The breakfast was excellent. In particular, the pancakes were delicious: huge, thick and fluffy with a lump of warm butter on top. Prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent.
After missing Katies and Kay's a new place has opened up at Cambridge Airport. We flew down there Saturday for lunch. Walking in the area is light and airy and still a work in progress. There was good crowd there which hopefully means success for them. The service was a bit spotty, new server and I think a bigger crowd then they anticipated but everything worked out well in the end. The kitchen was pretty fast. I ordered a burger and was surprised how big the obviously hand formed burger was. It was cooked exactly how I wanted and delicious. The crinkle cut fries were also very good. The only complaint is the menu is very limited. This maybe a good thing seeing the quality of my burger and fries but time will tell. Definitely worth going to.
