Caroline's in Denton

I made reservations for Valentine’s Day a month ahead of time. My bf and I are fairly new to the Eshore, and we love trying new food places. It was our first time here, and it was delightful. As an appetizer we got the Smokey Crab Dip, it was delicious. We ate it up. I love that it had red onions in it - my favorite. My bf had the Surf & Turf and said it was delicious, a the steak was the best as it was flavorful and juicy. I had the Crab Cake Grilled Cheese, and it was so filling. The fresh homemade fries were delicious!! Not sure why other reviews say they left hungry, we did not and have leftovers!

Caroline’s in Denton MD was an incredible choice to celebrate our birthdays this year. The beautiful architecture of the building was a perfect backdrop to our delicious meal. From the hostess to our server Miki, the service was impeccable. We started with the crab dip, it was great. Both of our dinners, salmon and prime rib were absolutely perfect. Our server recommended pumpkin cheesecake and it was a home run. I’m still thinking about the collard greens, literally seasoned to perfection! We can’t wait to come back and try the new fall menu, excited to see what items will be added for the season. Since moving to the eastern shore from Annapolis 5 years ago, we’ve tried several local restaurants and this is our favorite. See you soon!

December 2025. Quaint, cozy and an outstanding culinary experience. Very nice ambiance. Holiday drink specials were interesting and exceptional. The appetizers were delicious, especially the crab bisque soup. Food was well executed and flavorful. Met the Chef and highly recommend this restaurant.

Was told by many friends to check out Carolines and I was not disappointed in the least. Atmosphere is great being in an old home with lots of character. Service was great as well. I had the clams casino as an appetizer and they were amazing. Smokey bacon and cheese sauce rested on top of a little neck clam. The flavor combo was devine. My entrée of blackened shrimp and scallops over linguine was over the top. The seafood, cream sauce and pasta were cooked perfectly. Deliciousness at its best! Hats off to all the staff and chef!

My partner and I decided to go back to Caroline’s and try the side bar over the weekend and it was amazing. We got the ham and collard melt, the Caesar wings, and the peach pepper brussels. We also tried the egg custard slushy everything was absolutely amazing and will definitely be going back. The service was amazing and the food came out very quickly, the outside area was also very nice and relaxing!
