First time eating here and can’t wait to come back! Excellent food quality. Excellent service. Perfectly clean facility. And everything was DELICIOUS!

I am a Retired United States Air Force (USAF) Veteran and I know the meaning of “Great” customer service. Ms. Jennie (General Manager), Mr. Rodney (Assistant Manager), and Ms. Mary Anna (Dining room waitress) at Carolina Calabash gave my Mom and I just that; “Exceptional” and “Outstanding” customer service. They were “Top notch” and made our Mother and Son dinner outing delightful. From step 1 to step 10 Ms. Jennie, Mr. Rodney, and Ms. Mary Anna took their time going over all the menu items, answered all of our questions, and gave my Mom and I an impeccable dining experience; the service we received was “Exemplary”. Fresh! The shrimp was melt in your mouth good. Not over cooked and rubbery like most places. It was buttery, tender and the coating was nice and crunchy, not overly salty and not at all greasy. The same could be said for the fish and chicken. Everything I tried was very, very good. Everyone here was super nice from the owner to the staff. We spent $40 for two people and that included everything including drinks and dessert. I probably won’t eat anything else today! Eat here you won’t regret it!

Did not realize that a new owner had taken over the place this year. Wish I had known sooner because I SURELY would have been eating there much sooner. We were really happy with our meals. We chose a southern food dish with plans to go seafood on the weekend. It's totally satisfying! I would highly recommend it! Update.. we have been back several times now and have not been disappointed. They are consistent with the quality of the food. I recommend this place for sure! January 2023 update: we finally tried the buffet. Overall we were pleased. Some of the foods were seasoned differently than I would season at home but that doesn't mean someone else would not enjoy it. Food was fresh and service very good.

I pass this restaurant almost daily and never tried it until this past weekend. Such a great place AND Jenn & Rodney were so accommodating and welcoming. We had The crab 🦀 legs along with whe small but yummy buffet. The fried chicken was really good. Overall, was a charming experience. See you soon!!!
