Carnitas Y Chicharrones El Gallo

This food stall is an amazing spot for carnitas and chicharrones - their name tells you all! Grab the combination taco for the best mix of crunchy bits and flavorful carnitas. They have a whole table of toppings and buckets of salsa. The tacos are huge! You’re getting the most out of every penny! You can also buy meat to go by the pound. They are continually frying up chicharrones so everything you get is super super fresh.

Walked past one day and caught a whiff of the carnitas and for a whole week tried to pick some tacos up but never made it before they close at 3:30. Finally I got time to swing by earlier and to my anticipation was super pleased with my experience. The taqueros were super friendly, the tacos are $4 and are very generously portioned. I tried all three options of how you can order your taco, carnitas, buche or mixed. They were all exceptional but I’d say the mixed had the right portions of each cut offered and was both meaty and fatty, perfect bites. Definitely making this a weekly stop! Excited to try the chicharrón next

Terrible. Came here at 2:30. All they had was chicharon. Chicharron was not good. It was hard and chewy, most of it. Also I was charged $5 per taco. Never coming back here ever again.

Awesome carnitas and chicharrones! Definitely worth every penny!! You can eat tacos right there or take carnitas, tortillas and all the other stuff home! They run out fast!

Carnitas el gallo are super great😋, I do recommend everyone to stop by and try them out, customer service the best ☺️
