Carnegie Public Library

This library in Monte Vista, Co is beautiful, the staff is very knowledgeable and this library is very much haunted. Nyes, there are ghosts here. NThey tug at your hair and pull at your clothing and gently touch you. No kidding. Seriously. I loved these encounters. Ask the staff there about the ghosts .

Stopped in to see a historic library and was delighted to chat with the librarian! Wish I had gotten her name. We chatted about cranes, books and the library in my neighborhood in Denver! She showed us the eagle cam they have set up and I bought the cutest tote bag!

An absolutely beautiful library with equally beautiful flowers adorning the front entrance. The librarians are all an absolute delight and are extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful. It makes me extremely proud to know that Monte Vista has such a superb library!

I love libraries and Carnegie Public Library in Monte Vista, Colorado is by far my favorite. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the ladies who work there are very knowledgeable, respectful, friendly, kind and extremely helpful. For years, I, along with my children, spent a lot of time there before moving out of state. There was not one library that I visited thereafter that compared to Carnegie Public Library in Monte Vista, Colorado, the library that was my home away from home.

Out wonderful library's architecture is like stepping into the past giving it the right ambiance. The staff are genuinely wonderful people taking care of the Carnegie Library of Monte Vista with professionalism and kindness ❤️
