Carmine's Pizza

I ordered their taco pizza. The flavor was good and the price was solid at $22 for a 16”, but the experience wasn’t the best. They told me 20 minutes over the phone, but it took closer to 40, and the pizza wasn’t hot when I picked it up — just lightly warm. That was disappointing because I was really expecting a fresh, hot pizza. Overall, it tasted good but the wait time and lack of heat brought the rating down for me

I am a frequent customer of Carmine's restaurant. The food quality is very good and consistent. There's sandwiches and pizza are outstanding! They have wonderful Italian dishes. A favorite of mine is the vegetable lasagna. Try it, you'll like it.

We had a fantastic experience dining here last night! Our party of 10 was warmly welcomed and exceptionally taken care of from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was prepared perfectly.Despite being a large group we never felt rushed.To top it off they surprised us with complimentary dessert. Bravo Carmine's.

I started going here with my mom, dad and sister in 1976 when we moved to N.J. It was my dad who was coming from Canarsie Brooklyn and trying to find good pizza. Friday nights it would be packed. I remember always getting a Sicilian, 2 liter and sitting down in the place. My favorite! Anyway stopped in for a slice of that Sicilian today and it did not disappoint. I could eat there pizza at least a couple times a week!

I always wanted to go up to this area to Lake Hopatcong. Looked this place up on Yelp. I was a bit concerned that there were no pies that just came out of oven. I ordered a slice of Sicilian and asked for a middle side but I think I got a middle. I also ordered a plain slice with pepperoni. Both were equally good. I don’t expect to be in the area again but I was pleased with the pizza. Bathroom was clean. People were nice enough. Plenty of tables. Pleasant interior. Relaxing. They also stock Pepsi products which I like.
