Good parking, friendly service, affordable price, and amazing pastries. DEFINATELY worth stopping by if you’re anywhere in the area. The owners and family are wonderful, all the baked treats are lovely. Empanadas (lemon, guava, pineapple, etc), sugar cookies, flan, and more

The sweetest Mom and Pop bakery I’ve been. The kindness of the people running this bakery is infectious and the treats were just as great as their vibes. Definitely noting to return here when next I come to Arizona.

Hey everybody! I just want to not only, recommend this bakery but ask people to support it. Gonzalo, the proprietor, was very respectful and attentive. I'm promoting local businesses here, simply because they're falling by the way side, because of the big conglomerates. I suggested something to him about perhaps baking some products that others may want some. Now I will admit, I did not purchase anything at the time. But, by asking him if he may be able bake a certain bread I was really wanting. He let me know tht he would very much consider it. Let us support Gonzalo and his bakery, CARMENS BAKERY!

My new favorite Mexican bakery. I found Carmen’s after my fave spot permanently closed. They are open long hours so you can get your favorite treat. I love the mini chocolate chip cookies and my kids love the empanadas and conchas. Owners couldn’t be friendlier!

Saw this place while in the plaza for other things and grabbed a Bavarian cream empanada and tres leches cake slice right before they closed at 7. Extremely tasty baked goods, reasonably priced, friendly man at the counter and there's so many beautiful pastries and other things we want to try. I'll be back!
