Carmelo's Pizzeria

This was a very random choice and we are glad we stopped. At first we thought ir was IN the gas station. It is right next to it. A nice, clean, quiet place to eat with classic rock playing and not blaring. The service was fast and our waitress was very polite. We spent about $70 on 2 cokes, 2 calzones and one stromboli. I felt that the price was reasonable since we are going to eat the leftovers for lunch. They were all stuffed with fillings and real mozzarella cheese that stretched forever. YUM!! Everything tasted great and we will be back.

Carmelo is a hole in the wall place Nice & thin crispy slice of pizza Their Special can’t be beat 2 slices and a Drink one affordable price Plus Subs As a UberXL driver, I found this place by accident while filling up Black SUV at the Shell gas station It’s also where the Cops hang out for lunch since literally across from the Police Station and safe You have 2 options: Eat in the Restaurant or if you’re in a hurry order & pickup on the convenient store side ( which I always do while driving uber ) Not like the others places that have the word “ Bronx “ in their store name or a chain of stores There’s only one Carmelo’s Pizza

My wife, daughter, and I were visiting St. Augustine for a short getaway and were excited to try Carmelo’s Pizzeria after several friends recommended it for their huge slices. I personally really enjoyed my pizza — the slice I had was delicious. Unfortunately, my wife and daughter were not happy with one of the items they ordered. When they shared their concerns with me, I brought it to Addison’s attention and politely asked if we could possibly exchange it for a different item. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, I was met with several interrogating questions, which made the situation uncomfortable. I requested an antipasto salad as a replacement, but this also became a point of contention. I was told the uneaten item could not be removed from the receipt because there was no manage

Ordered cheese slice one day, next day, stromboli. Both were great! Me and my daughter sat outside, the worker kept staring & made a statement. I felt unwelcomed but the cashier was nice. The other girl needs customer service skills in welcoming and asking the right questions. Despite her interaction with me, I'll be going back to try something new🎯

I ordered three subs two out of the three subs were incorrect. One sub asked for extra mayonnaise we got no mayonnaise at all. One was a turkey sub in which we asked for extra peppers and extra pickles. As you can see, there’s barely anything actually on the sandwich. The lady at the counter was so rude to me when I told her I didn’t have my cheddar broccoli bites. I clearly checked all of my boxes at the counter. She was so offended that she double checked for me. Gave me an attitude and threw my stuff on the counter. Didn’t even say sorry or anything. I spent $47 on food here just for it to be wrong and to be treated like crap. WILL NOT BE BACK.
