Family run and operated pizza parlor and resturant. The food feels their Nana is working in the kitchen making classic delicious dishes. You’re always greeted with a smile and welcoming feeling. I love their Zingara sauce over rigatoni or chicken but never been disappointed with any meal. My husband and I come once a week. Special place 😊

Came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday with her friends and left very unimpressed. The appetizers took about 45 minutes and we only ordered fried calamari and wings. The entrees then took another 35ish minutes more. We had to flag the staff several times just to ask for water. The food was good but the lack of service made us feel unwelcome.

Dee and Mike are always happy to see you, they provide a great welcoming atmosphere and most importantly is that the quality of the food they provide is second to none, Dee is always changing up the specials and soups to fit the season. If you don't see it as a special, ask for “Chicken Shongotzzz” you wont be sorry! Santos completes the wonderful experience by going above and beyond to make the customers feel like family. When you’re finished with dinner don’t hesitate to try “Deez Treats! The pistachio is the best!”

If you haven't been to Carmela's yet - go! It is easily one of the best local, family owned spots around. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality from Michael, Gabriella and Daniella. Everything from start to finish was perfect, and the service couldn't be more welcoming. All our food was absolutely delicious. The menu has great specials and offer something for everyone. I had the Butternut Squash Cavatelli with sausage - delish! You can tell they take pride in everything they prepare and serve. We are lucky to have Carmela's right here in Massapequa where great food and wonderful people come together. Highly recommend!

Carmela's pizza is top tier quality even compared to very good pizzerias in the area. I had pizza elsewhere, a week ago, which was really good, but my slices from Carmela's were much more flavorful. The pepperoni at Carmela's is better and the buffalo chicken slice I had was out of this world. This is pizza on another level. There's a reason why Carmela's has been a top favorite pizzeria of mine for years. That said, their casual and fine dining Italian cuisine is top quality as well. Has been for years. The staff are always friendly, patient, enthusiastic and accommodating, too. Added bonus: try a pint of delicious, homemade Dee's ice cream!
