Carluccio's Coal Fired Pizza

Delicious from the first bite to the last. Everything was cooked to perfection - that ideal coal-fired crisp with just the right chew - topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients and incredible flavor across the board. We ordered slices of Grandma’s Famous Pie, Chicken Vodka, Vodka Piccante, and Regular Cheese, and every one delivered. The Chicken Vodka was rich and creamy without being heavy, the Vodka Piccante had the perfect kick, the Grandma slice was classic and craveable, and the regular cheese was simple, melty, and flawless. The atmosphere was lively and banging - busy, but the team stayed efficient, friendly, and on it the whole time. Can’t wait to come back.

I wanted to give a shout out to Carluccio’s for a delicious meal! We ordered the coal fired grandma’s pizza with meatballs. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Dessert was chocolate mousse layered with cream. Luscious! Another dessert, we had a powdered doughnut with even more chocolate inside. To die for 🤪 The famous pizza is coal fired, crisp and hot. Carluccio’s is a lively place with a decent amount of indoor seating for such a small place on the corner of Tilton Road in Northfield. You don't just have to order pizza, there are plenty of specialty dishes. Just a note, they get very busy at dinner time especially on the weekends. I would go early because parking can be difficult. Carluccio's doing it right! Always consistent with their pizzas and pastas. Stopping by here is always the highlight of my trip whenever I'm in NJ. The service is always amazing and welcoming! Everyone is nice and takes care of you! We always get the Grandma's pie! Highly recommend to anyone!

Nice spot. Many pizza options. The pizza is no match for NYC heavyweights though. Just good but it does not live up to the hype in my opinion. Grandma would be disappointed while tasting her pie… Worth the visit but we won’t be back.
