Carlson’s Pasty & Sausage Kitchen

The pasties here are so good! So much better than the frozen ones I've been buying from the grocery store. They're big too so I typically get 2 meals out of 1. The breakfast version is also amazing. I just pop the leftovers in my air fryer for around 10 minutes and they're like fresh again. Definitely recommended!

You MUST stop here! The BEST pasty in the area! We love stopping here to get our pasty fix after skiing at Giant's Ridge. The guy has freshly baked, frozen, and a large variety of sausages. So delicious!

Stopped in to get a couple frozen pastys for later. Got two with rutabaga. I thawed and then cooked them in the air fryer. Came out great, good consistency! A little on the drier side just like a pasty should be but not so dry that you had to use condiments. Definitely will be back. I am local and would recommend to anyone I meet. I’m also hooked on the jalapeno beef sticks. Honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Looking forward to trying the sausages next. I make pizzas down the street from here and this business is a great part of our local community!

One pasty is perfect refueling food when on a bike ride along the Mesabi trail between Virginia and Tower! Unique & delicious!!

Drove 45 miles just to get a pasty because of their reputation. Was NOT disappointed. Will definitely be back to get more. Also got some pepperjack stix and those are delicious, too. Can get pasties with our without rutabaga.
