Carlson Coffee Company/Goodies Go Last Bakery

My husband and I are driving across the country and wanted a coffee shop, other than just Starbucks. We found this place on Google maps, and WHAT A TREAT! We stopped in just now and what a delightful experience. Mr. Carson spoke with us and made two delicious pumpkin lattes with oat milk! My husband had the ham and Swiss and I had the pain au chocolat. Absolutely delicious and rivals pastries we ate in Italy! If you are in Tucumcari, this is a MUST STOP! Precious people, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The cutest little coffee shop on old Route 66. I ordered a half sweet vanilla latte and it was just perfect. The hot cocoa chocolate was also good! Love the eclectic atmosphere.

Such a cute place! Great, hot coffee. Breakfast burrito was fabulous! Must get, especially if you like green chiles. The owners are so kind. Mr. Carlson even gave me a flower for Valentine’s Day.

What an amazing place! Incredibly friendly and helpful, connected me right up for laptop power and wireless, amazing food, great prices, plus cool touristy stuff. Carlson's already seems to be an adored local spot, but any place that fundamentally looks out for us long-distance travelers is especially special!

If you are headed down i40w or stopping along route 66, you need to stop at Carlsons in Tucumcari. You can tell the owners really care about their customers, both the locals and tourists. The coffee is amazing and the pastries and goodies are to die for! A super cute vintage inspired coffee shop that looks like something you would see in a big city. I love that it is here in little Tucumcari and I will definitely be asking for treats to be sent back home to us in NC when we aren't out here visiting! Seriously, stop by and try this place out. You wont regret it!!!
