Stopped by Carl’s Jr. and everything we ordered was really good! We got the Famous Star burger, Star Nuggets, and the Western Burger — all were fresh, hot, and super flavorful. The cookies and cream milkshake was also really good and the perfect sweet addition to the meal. The only thing that was a little frustrating is that they don’t actually use the app at this location. It’s advertised all over the restaurant for mobile ordering, there’s even a sign for a mobile pickup counter, and the paper on our food tray said to save time and order in the app. But when I tried to use a reward, they said they don’t accept the app. That was definitely confusing and kind of annoying. The meat smelled old. It was shortly after noon today and I ordered a double star burger with a large unsweet tea. The tea was delicious but the burger tasted like it had sat out or was made with old meat, a factor I only realized once I penetrated the wall of mayo and lettuce. It seems they think that too much sauce is good and it might hide the taste smell of their sub-par, discounted meat.

It was okay. I'll be honest, its pricey here. 30 bucks to feed my son, myself, and his dad. 2 combos and one extra cheeseburger. They didnt have any tea made, so i had to drink water. Would be okay, only i paid for a drink, which i didn't get. The ketchup dispenser was out, so everyone had to get back up to get some packets for their orders. I will say, the wait was pretty decent. Even for the line out the door. My son ordered a plain burger, but it came with ketchup, mustard, and pickles. He likes it plain with just the cheese. Not sure why plain really isn't. Everything was hot and fresh. The burgers were nicely charbroiled. The tenders really had no flavor honestly. They needed some saltiness, and Im really not a fan of salty foods. Best fast food place in Anna by far. Always a great experience. El Diablo burger is fantastic.
