Carlito’s

The food at Carlito’s has gotten worse and worse over the past year. What once was a great local restaurant has become over priced with sub par food. Take out is improperly managed and orders get confused often with management blaming the customers. Food is under seasoned and way over priced for the small portions given. This is our second poor experience, we will NEVER be returning. Not recommended.

cozy atmosphere, there was no crowd and it was extremely peaceful. the food was amazing. i got pasta e fagioli, and for dessert i got pistachio cake. i came here with my friend and i will definitely be returning!

This was my one and only trip to Carlito’s of Woodbury. An absolute disappointment. The staff was awkward and unsociable, the food was sub par and expensive and the overall experience left much to be desired. Bread and oil was bland and added nothing the experience. The soup was thoroughly disgusting and was sent back. The saltiest soup I’ve ever had the displeasure of tasting. Salad had very little dressing on it. The dinner was the only good part of the meal and while expensive was good and tasty. I cannot recommend Carlito’s in any capacity. Overpriced and not worth it. Better off going elsewhere.

I enjoyed a nice dinner here with friends, the food and service was good and we liked the ambience. I had the Cavatelli con Pollo with a salad, with a very good Italian dressing. The table dinner rolls came out piping hot and fresh and were delicious. The sauce on the pasta had a little too much oil and was a little bland for my taste, but overall a pleasant experience. My friends both liked their entrees.

The place is a dump!!! The place wasn’t as bad when we first started going there, but it started to slowly go down hill lately. I was just there for a pick up order…. When placing the order they needed two people because the first employee couldn’t understand English. Then I drive all the way down there, and these fools still got the order wrong. So I just took the one thing they got right as I am looking at my bill I see a $6.00 Miscellaneous cost. I questioned this, and they said it was for the vodka sauce for the chicken parm grinder. I asked why didn’t anyone advise us of this, they said they did which I know they didn’t, because I was sitting next to my wife as she placed the order, and then acted as if I was in the wrong when called out for this.
