Caribou Lodge

These rooms are so cute! Have the cabin feel to them with a nice little half kitchen with a small fridge and microwave and a hot plate to cook on, they provide almost all utensils needed for eating and cooking. The only complaint I have which is unfortunately kind of a big one is there definitely seems to be a mice presence here, we found mice droppings in with the utensils. Also there was no shampoo or conditioner provided and less than a squirt of dish soap to wash dishes.

We arrived late at the motel and was told that our room would be ready with the key inside the room. Everything worked out fine even though we never did meet any staff. The room was a bit small but it has everything one needs. Since it's right by the highway, it could be a bit loud especially when trucks rumble by. The coffee, warm muffins and Cliff bars in the front office in the morning were really a nice touch.

A good place for overnight stay. Be aware however that the lowest rates are in the basement "dorm rooms" with the bath and showers down the hall which are newly renovated and quite nice. The dorm rooms are the minimalist basics but if all you need is a clean place to sleep, adequate enough. Strong Wifi but the fridge was off and they take so long to be cold. All in all my stay refreshed my journey.

The outside looks a little run down but don't let that deter you from staying here. The room was small but cute, cabin like, and clean. The staff was friendly and the price was good. They let me check in early which was good because I wasn't gonna be back until after they closed to the night. The bed was comfortable memory foam. It is rare for me to sleep well away from home, but I slept good. They had an individual ac unit in there, and I could keep it at whatever temperature.I liked. It was nice and cool. There's a mini fridge and freezer combo and a microwave. The shower was small but the water was warm and strong. They have a t v and wifi, but I didn't use that. The only downside to the rooms or that you can hear your neighbors. The walls are thin, but overall, I would defi
