What an incredible restaurant. Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner who is one of the most welcoming and friendly people I've ever met. The inside is really cute. It gives you vacation vibes with the decor which is always nice. The food? It was outstanding. The oxtail stole the show for me, but we also loved the jerk chicken and Chipotle BBQ pork cubes. The rice and beans were fantastic too and I've never met a plantain I didn't love. For the price, you get a lot of food! Everything about this place was excellent. The owner treats you like family, the food is cooked like your sweet grandma made it, and I urge you all to give CariBlue a shot. It's a refreshing breath of culinary air. We'll be back!

Abel Cano(chef/owner) is the most welcoming person, and his food is bursting with Caribbean flavor! You must try the oxtail, and the curry goat! The jerk chicken is amazing, and the ribs and shrimp are so flavorful! Portions will leave you full and happy! And don't forget tye pineapple upside down cake for dessert! We discovered Cariblue when they were in Redwood City, now they are in Modesto and we drove 2 hrs from Daly City just to eat there, and it was totally worth it! All the photos are of the times we went to RWC, except the last 2 photos, those are from our recent trip to Modesto.

Hello yall. I am trying new spots around Modesto and stumbled across Cariblue on Apple Maps. I ordered the oxtail and jerk chicken and it was amazing. For the price you are paying and the amount of food you get is crazy. The food was tender and hot when I got back to work. Abe the gentleman or helped me with my order was very kind and welcoming. Overall if you want to try a new spot I suggest Cariblue.

5 stars all around! Abe is a fantastic chef and business owner 🙏 This food was amazing, best jerk chicken I've had in California! Great portion sizes, very accommodating and friendly staff. Abe is very passionate about the cuisine he serves and provides a beautiful customer experience. The food was seasoned well and authentic! The oxtail and chicken was falling off the bone, tender, moist, and sooo tasty! We also enjoyed the Mac and cheese, and the plantains were done to perfection 👌 thank you for such an enjoyable dining experience! I can't wait to come back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I came on the recommendation of a friend last month and I’m so glad I did! Perfect quiet hole in the wall place with something new to offer to the 209 area. I ordered the jerk chicken and goat curry because I couldn’t decide. The food was excellent! The meat was flavorful and tender, paired well with the rice and plantains. The owner is very kind. I had such fun talking to him and learning about his story of how he came to cook Jamaican food. He went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed my experience. He even let me sample the oxtail, which might have been my favorite of the 3 meats I tried! Thanks Abel for sharing your love of food! I will definitely be back and bringing friends.
