Great place to have a Central Asian. We had Osh Palav, Mantu, and Fried Lamb with potatoes. Osh Palav (rice food) was good.
Only giving it 2 stars because the food is good for the price. The service is practically nonexistent. If you are not lucky to get there on the evening when there is a party booked, you are destined to get deaf and not have a good time. They dont have common sense and blast their traditional music so loud, your eardrums will pop. Forget having a conversation. If you want to have a party, book entire restaurant. If you are not doing that, have some courtesy for other customers... not a case here. And waiters would not lower it down because they want to sack up to high paying customers who have a party. So come at your own risk.
Our meal was so delicious. From the plov to the camca, and the salads and sides, we left so full. Our server was very polite and attentive. This family-owned restaurant is truly a gem! Our whole meal was under $40, which is such a steal. We will be back again for sure!!
The food is probably the only decent part of the restaurant. The bread is decent, but nothing special. The meats are okay, generally better than some Middle Eastern places. But they do not serve rice at all for dinner, which is kind of weird but whatever. That is probably the best of what I have to say. The overall cost and portion is okay in general, but some other reviews mention better prices in other places. The service was not only nonexistent, but they actually charged for it. It took over 10 minutes just to get water (not to mention we didn't even ask for bottle water, we asked for tap). It took 15 minutes to get the bill at the end, and the plane only had 4 other tables at the time but had 3 servers. They actually forced a service charge on the final bill despite doing nothing at
Came here for the plov and left satisfied. It was packed with meat as seen in the photo. Together with the cold yoghurt-based soup (chalob) and bread and small salad it was under $30 after tax and tip. Great value. Keep in mind it is an ethnic place and the clientele hailed from that part of the world.
