Capybara Cafe

We honestly had no idea what to expect with this experience but it exceeded our expectations and was worth every penny! I love that proceeds help the animals. All the staff were SO knowledgeable about the capybaras. The capybaras were so sweet and friendly and there was no shortage of kale or lettuce to feed them! I learned so much about them. This is perfect for all ages. A nice added bonus was the other animal interactions that I did not anticipate prior to the encounter. The baby goat was the CUTEST (I have goats so I’m a sucker for a baby one LOL), and the macaw was stunning. Thank you for a memory for our little family that will last a. Life time.

Such a great experience at Capy Cafe! The staff and guides were very knowledgeable and friendly, and you can tell they truly care about the animals. The animals were active and engaging, which made the visit even more fun. The goat before entering was honestly a highlight — I went back and forth on whether to do the “and Friends” experience, and I’m so glad I did. It was absolutely worth the price for such a unique, hands-on experience. Parking was easy too, which made everything even better. Highly recommend!

This experience is definitely a bucket list item. We loved every minute of it. The baby capybaras were adorable and the staff actually have them potty trained! There was a group of about 10 people who all sit in a circle and then they give you kale leaves to feed the little ones. There were 3 ladies including me who were wearing red tops and I don't know if that has any bearing on this but the capybaras were drawn to us. They would climb on our laps and just cuddle. It was so precious. I highly recommend you book a visit to Capybara Cafe. You won't regret it.

We just visited Capybara Café, and the experience was completely different — and so much better — than I expected. I originally thought it would be more of a traditional café setting where you sip coffee surrounded by animals. Instead, we did the one-hour Capybara & Friends Encounter, and it was incredible. The experience started with about 15 minutes in a pre-encounter area, where we got to interact with goats, guinea pigs, a turtle, a hedgehog, a bearded dragon, bunnies, and more. Then we spent 30 minutes with young capybaras, where we were able to feed and pet them while learning so much about them. After that, we spent another 30 minutes in a different room with older capybaras, along with a wallaby, a lemur, and even a skunk! It was such a fun, hands-on, and educational experience.

This place was so amazing. There were other animals to interact with like bunnies and a sea otter. Super cute. The Capybaras were absolutely adorable and kid friendly. And our guide was very informational and allowed us to ask lots of questions. This was a great learning experience.
