Captain's Galley Seafood-HICKORY

Southern cooking to the next level! It’s been over a month since we experienced the greatness of our catered meal from Captain’s Galley restaurant (Hickory), and that cream style corn, sweet potato soufflé, steak and gravy and fried chicken are still on my mind. Everyone complemented this meal. It was made with a passion for cooking- layered with flavor -“finger looking good” doesn’t do it justice. You will want to come back again and again. The added bonus of a courteous staff, helpful and willing to meet our needed accommodations was appreciated. I TOTALLY recommend this establishment for any of your future catering needs. It was so good that I am back again tonight!!!

I liked the broiled salmon it tasted so good! I liked the hush puppies and they give generous brown sugar with the sweet potatoes and extra refills for my party. Very good service and excellent staff and food and a nice environment! Great for parties!

The Cajun shrimp and scallop are amazing.. the service amazing.. they bring a refill when they bring your drinks out. By far our favorite fish camp in Catawba county.

Music is too loud. Everybody does not like old hard rock. On Sundays after church it would be nice to sit in a more wholesome Christian atmosphere. I've mentioned about the loud music but they just ignore. I don't go there anymore. But I do miss the good fish.

I was in town for a quick visit and was so happy to find this place. I had fried scallops, oysters, and popcorn shrimp and all were delicious. The price was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food. The best part was the service, though. My server was Anthony and he was amazing! Polite, extremely efficient, and attentive. All in all a great experience and I highly recommend.
