Captain's Cabin

Excellent stop for lunch. Had the Firestarter burger, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Excellent buns, fresh veggies, and the right amount of seasoning on the burger. The house made sauces were excellent as well. Fast, friendly service complimented the delicious food. Highly recommend!

This little pub/bar was surprisingly nice on the inside! Dont let the outside fool you. Captains Cabin has some delicious food to offer! The staff was incredibly nice, lots of choices on the food menu. The Buffalo chicken salad was absolutely delicious, along with the smoked bacon wrapped eggs, and cheese curds. Plenty beer on tap and bar games available for a fun hangout along with plenty big screens for your sports watching. We loved this little bar. We will definitely stop by when we pass through Washburn,ND again.

We stopped in at the Captain's Cabin for lunch after spending Sunday morning at Knife River Indian Village. The bar & grill was quiet, and we were seated immediately. We had burgers and fries for lunch. Both of which were cooked perfectly. Service was wonderful. This made for a nice lunch and break before continuing the day at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.

A very busy day and the team working was kind, polite and very efficient. They were short handed but you couldn’t tell. The food is yummy and would recommend to stop in and support local.

Am in town for work and this place happened to be across the street. So glad it was, because I’ve been here a week and found it immediately. Great atmosphere as you walk in. Staff is very accommodating as well. Sat at the bar and looked at the menu. Really good choices and figured I would try the burger. It was love at first bite. Have been back almost everyday since wanting to try something else each time. Highly recommended this spot and for me personally the Buffalo Chicken is like no other. The way it’s seasoned into the breading! So good! If I’m ever back in the area you can guarantee I will be here! Thanks so much guys!
