Captain D's

The service was good. Only a 6 min wait from ordering to receiving my order. The food was ok. The lettuce I took off since it was old. The fries could have been fresher.

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I am horribly disappointed! This was my first time at here and to pay over 25 bucks waited 10 minutes for a completely inedible meal! I could have gotten ALOT more shrimp at Popeyes and would have been satisfied. Then to turn to our $15 catfish dinner for it to look as tho someone had broken off a couple of pieces then put in the container. On top of what looked like day old fries on top of BUGS in our coleslaw then I didn't even get a drink...

I was thrilled to find a Captain D's in Fairburn, GA. It used to be my favorite place for seafood when I was growing up in Orlando. However, the fish and chicken batter didn't taste as good as I remembered. They were not seasoned enough. The biggest letdown was the green beans. I recall them being flavorful and having bacon, but these were just plain canned green beans without much taste. I hope this was just a one-time mistake and not standard. Maybe the Florida Captain D's uses a different recipe. Whatever the reason for the disappointing food, I hope it gets fixed quickly. On top of all that, that wait was so long for the food to be cold. With all that said, I can't recommend this place based on my experience.

This Captain D use to be clean years ago. It is so nasty every time I come here this isn't just one or two days. Mold in the ceiling, tables and floors are always nasty I can't imagine how nasty the kitchen is🤢🤮 Has bugs on the ceiling DONT EAT HERE, if u have to eat at Captain D go to the one in Riverdale this one is nasty n could possibly make someone sick. Don't believe me walk in instead of drive through🤢

Captain D’s is what it is! Their food does just what food does! I had a taste for some fish when I went. Now that I have lots of reviews whenever Google sees I’ve been somewhere they want me to review it. Back to CD’s, one of the young ladies was kind to me. Fish was hot, but I sat down and almost went in the bench. They need to replace the cushions or something. It also smells old! Captain D’s needs a makeover like all the other restaurants. Four stars because it is Cap D’s and I don’t expect a lot from them. Also, the young lady with long braids was kind. The food was hot, although she had to swap out my dried out hush puppies for some fresh ones. I would have been angry if I would have left with those dry hush puppies.
