Captain D's

I only gave atmosphere 3☆☆☆ 's because we went in the drive thru. We drove down to Griffen Capt D's, because our favorite one and the closest, used to be in Lovejoy - until it was shut down about a year ago. Maybe longer. We tried 2 times to go to the one in Fayetteville, but that place is horrific. I made a review and got a response from someone claiming to be the owner. I thought maybe I would get some sort of resolve, but was told to go to the corporate website. I did. Nothing from them whatsoever. Pathetic way to treat paying customers or run a business. The Griffin Capt D's has restored our faith!!! Ordering was a great experience. Very pleasant young lady. It was quick service and very friendly, personable person at the window. Great food and prices. Great friendly staff who has been loyal here for 20 plus years. Hot and fresh. Never go wrong here. Fresh fish and hush puppies. Great customer service. Plenty of parking. Clean big dining room.

The people at the store were nice. The store was very clean But the food was weird. The fish had a texture of dry chicken. I wasted my money. I couldn’t even eat it. I bought $25 worth of food just to throw it in the trash

I've always got great service and the food is always delicious! I never have to check my bag before leaving because I know it's always right! I wish all places were like this! Great job ladies and fellows!

Been years since I was in a Captain D’s so I dropped in to see how well they held up. The fried fish and french fry flavors remain the same; nothing changed except the price and portion size. Not a place to get good bang for your Buck. The fish pieces are half the size they were and the price is twice as much. The staff is very pleasant, service was fast and pretty clean. It was empty at the time I came not surprising as it was Monday after lunch. Still the food as always was served fresh and hot. One 8 piece popper appetizer (extremely tiny portion) and 2 of their $5.99 lunch specials with a $1 drink cost us $19.55. Take from it what you will, for me the cost of going out has become too much.
