Capriotti's Sandwich Shop

I usually receive great service here. I went in on 2/7/26 at 8:30 and the gentleman completely ignored me. When I walked in the he was on the phone at the register. Once he finished the call, I asked him how the much the chips were . He didn’t make eye contact and walked to the back. I know that he heard me because he was at the register and I was standing at the chip rack right in front of him. The other nice gentleman came from the side, answered my question and rang up my order. I could have went to the Middletown location but I chose to go to Chester. This makes me not want to patronize this location any longer.

This was our first time here. We ordered subs and fries that were very good. We hesitated to eat inside because all the tables were dirty and there was food on the floor . We found one table that wasn’t too bad. We had to ask for napkins. There were only two other customers inside at 2 pm on a Sunday.

I had the opportunity to visit my friend in Maryland, and I stopped by a sub shop that blew me away. I walked out with two incredible subs: a Wagyu Philly cheesesteak—let me emphasize, a WAGYU PHILLY CHEESESTEAK—and a sub called "the Bobby." Honestly, I was seriously considering relocating just for this shop! 😭😩 By the way, the picture here is of "the Bobby." Oh my gosh, it’s like Thanksgiving in a sub! Kind and friendly staff, fun selection of drinks, several vegetarian options. Pictured: The Bobby (turkey, cranberry, stuffing) French dip Vegan cheese steak (hold the cheese) made with impossible burger Enjoyed the large airy space and just enough music volume to be pleasant and calm but not make the place loud

I’ve been in this place multiple times and I’ve never gotten out of there in less than 20-25 mins. Yesterday I was the only person in the place and after 2-3 apologies from the staff I again received my order 22 mins after I placed it. I place orders online, go to pick them up at the specified time frame and wait an additional 20 minutes, EVERY TIME. I love the food but I can’t waste all of my time in there waiting on it. I don’t know what’s up with this place but man they are so slow I’m taking them off my list.
