Cappy's Restaurant & Bar

After driving six hours ftomSouth Dakota without seeing a single place to eat, we were relieved to find this spot—and it didn’t disappoint. The food and service were both solid. I had a custom burger that hit the spot. My son enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger. My son-in-law wasn’t thrilled with his buffalo chicken salad, but overall, this was definitely a great stop, especially given the limited options.

Great little find in Rawlins. Stopped overnight on our way to Utah, hotel recommended Cappy's for breakfast. The Huevos Rancheros was very good. The green chile sauce had good bit to it. The side of bacon came out as ordered. The Classic Breakfast was just right for my wife, more than she usually eats, came out as ordered. Service was attentive and friendly.

Excellent choices from all American, to Italian, and Mexican. Food was delicious. Service was great. The atmosphere was everything you'd expect in Wyoming. They even had THE BEST SWEET TEA, and that says a lot coming from a country girl. Homemade pies and ice cream sundaes for dessert!

We stopped here on our drive back home. The food was really good and the dining room was full when we got there, so it’s clearly popular. The atmosphere was average. Nothing fancy about it. Service was good. Wait time for food was faster than I expected. Overall, I would stop here again.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly. We came with our service dog and they were very kind and accommodated our needs. We ordered the mozzarella sticks for an appetizers. Also ordered a cheese burger and the meatball sandwich. The burger and meatball sandwich were excellent. The french fries were a bit bland and could have been cooked longer. No worries though as we still enjoyed them. Restaurant was almost full, but food came out quick and no issues with our orders. Parking was a bit full, but there were some tractor trailers that took up spots. Still, we came with a trailer and still found parking without any issue. Highly recommend this location if you are in need of American food while in the area.
