My family and I visited DC to visit the museum of the Bible , Capitol bistro looked like it was the only place that offered a viriety near the museum , so we decided to try it , they have a small station that serves made to order omelets , they also have your typical options like eggs , sausage , bacon , and French toast , they have fruit and yogurt and well as oatmeal , plenty of options for tea and coffee and also pastries , it is your typical hotel breakfast plus a few other options , for the price I didn’t think it was worth it at all at $24.95 per person , even if it was buffet style , please note that I did not stay at the hotel that it is apart of which is the holiday inn , we literally just walked in for the restaurant, and because of this we were asked to pay cash , there were no

I normally don't eat breakfast in the hotel restaurants unless it included in my stay, but since the two experiences I had at some of the local diners were a total miss, I figured I would give this place a try and I am so glad I did. This restaurant was a breath of fresh air in terms of atmosphere, service, and food. My server Mario was friendly and very attentive right from the start. I ordered the Veggie Skillet off the limited sized menu rather than doing the buffett style, and I was pleasantly surprised by the nice portion I got and how great it tasted. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a food safety concern regarding Capitol Bistro, a food service establishment located in Washington, D.C. Date of Incident: December 29, 2025 On the above date, I personally observed food service employees at Capitol Bistro using latex gloves while preparing food items intended for customer consumption. The gloves were used in direct contact with food during preparation and service. Due to concerns related to food safety and potential allergic reactions associated with latex exposure, I addressed this issue directly with the on-site manager. I spoke with the manager on two separate occasions on December 26, 2025 and againon 12/28/2025, to notify him of the concern. On both occasions, the manager acknowledged the use of latex gloves b

I have breakfast over here. It was very nice. I choice breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet time 06:30-10:30. The food was delicious 😋! It’s very nice convenient restaurant! We ate breakfast here because they had a variety and it was located in our hotel. Myself and my daughter had already decided to order off the menu because the buffet was $25 and we don't eat enough to justify that insane cost. My husband and son chose the buffet. The waitress finally came over with coffee and OJ after they got their food at the buffet and somewhat rudely said "If you're ordering off the menu it's going to be a long wait" Great. We didn't want to wait forever so we went to the buffet. The food was not very good. We stayed at the Doubletree 2 nights before and had a FREE buffet that was so much better than this one was.
