Customer Reviews
A classy seafood restaurant with great service, good food, and a 100 health score. Trout was served with little Buerre Blanc sauce but ample capers. Tasted good. The iceberg wedge was good. Creamed spinach excellent. Potatoes Au Gratin were bland. Live piano player Thu, Fri, Sat. The restroom is clean and warm in the winter but only downside is no hot water.
Our choice to spend a 14 February Dinner here resulted in the best dining out experience in a while. The lead hostess initiated with greatness by honoring our reservation time even though we were an hour late. We were immediately seated and our waitress Nigeria began table service that far exceeded expectations. She was friendly, while not chatty, helpful with suggestions, while not pushy. The food arrived timely and was in a word, awesome from the pass arounds to dessert. An overall "yes"! Get here!
We had dinner on Valentine’s Day night. Luckily we didn’t have to make a reservation. We just walked in inside at the bar. The food was good and I loved the piano playing singer. He was really good.
Our 31st Anniversary and we could not have picked a better place to celebrate it. The food was amazing and the atmosphere as well as the service was outstanding. Capers never disappoints. fried and blacken catfish + red peppers + green onions + parsley, kale salad mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, wasabi mashed potatoes and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Outstanding!
Tonight Capers disappointed. They truly fell short. All I wanted was a fresh fried chicken salad. However, too much of the lettuce was rotten. It was awful. They brought out a 2nd plate but it was worst than the 1st. I have been patronizing Capers for 19 years - since they were downtown Kennesaw near the railroad tracks. The past couple of years there's been a slight shift - I just hope that the quality of food doesn't take a serious decline. I just wanted a fresh salad free of rotten pieces throughout. Is that an unreasonable request for $18? Is any amount when you're spending your hard earned money?
