May 2024. Menu and service same as always at this botequim, but new name. They stop serving food at 4pm so breakast and lunch only, and the food is hearty and plentiful and as authentic as it gets. Working class men brawl though everyone is so drunk it's all in good fun, if a little rough around the edges. You'd best speak some Portuguese. 2017: Comida caseira... as homemade and authentic as it comes. Working men in t-shirts come to this cantinho -- little place on the corner -- to watch soccer on tv, catch up with their neighbors, and enjoy inexpensive meals. Cash only. Steaks, chicken, sardines. Menu changes daily, written only in Portuguese on a chalkboard. 5 seats at the counter plus 15 seats at tables. Very European.

That restaurant is very small but the food very delicious
