Tried out this Mexican restaurant recently and overall had a good experience. The place was clean, with plenty of parking, the waitress was very friendly and paid attention to drink refills before they ran out, which is always a plus. I ordered the quesabirria, and it did not disappoint—flavorful, tender, and well-prepared. The only downside was a mix-up with a salad. We specifically requested it without tomatoes, but it came with them anyway. When we pointed it out, the waitress explained that she pointed that out, but the cook said to send it anyway and ask if we could just remove the tomatoes ourselves, which felt a little off. First time we ate here. We went on a Sunday around 5pm. We ordered Birria Tacos and carnitas with a foxy margarita. When we ordered, they came back and said that they didn’t have the Birria meat and we ordered something else, but then they came back again after another 5-10 minutes and said that they did have it and asked if we still wanted the Birria tacos, which we ordered. The food was very bland. It did not seem like there was much flavor to it. The meat was very tender on the carnitas but again, it was very bland. The atmosphere was good, Very open and roomy and seemed very clean. We had a gentleman come up to our table and ask if everything was good but we couldn’t tell if he worked there or if he was a customer. He was wearing sweat pants with some stains on the side that we notice

"Different" but good was what I'd heard from others. They've got more options that are closer to street food (street tacos, street corn) and the differences are enough to set them apart, but not too much they they're unfamiliar or uncomfortable. Every single item was awesome. I might have a new favorite restaurant. Whomever decorated the place has a sense of humor with the signs and everything, but it's tasteful. I had to post pictures of what's on the walls in the men's bathroom.

We have came here twice and enjoyed both times we visited. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, server came over for refills in drinks and chips. This is now our go to Mexican restaurant in Washington. Pollo milanese was the best I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend.
