Cantalini's Salerno Beach Restaurant

The beet salad was very good. Also enjoyed the veal saltibocca and the lasagna. Unique old school Italian restaurant feel only a block from the beach.

We recently moved to the neighborhood and had high hopes since this spot is close to us. Sad to say, we should have listened when a couple before us left saying their experience was “tragic”. It started with the extraordinarily long wait to get in. Then another extraordinarily long wait when we ordered the wine. When the waitress finally did bring the bottle of wine over, she only gave my (male) dining companion a sample. Which honestly in this day and age felt pretty insulting. How hard would it have been to let us both try? It was another long wait to order our food; a table next to us was seated, ate, and left before we even ordered entrees. Was such a good time with INCREDIBLE food. We went here on a whim and I am so happy we did. Their ravioli is incredible and we got the seasonal appetizer - also amazing. Would come again. If they offer you garlic bread, it is $7. But food is so good!!! Phone did not eat first 😁

We had an amazing dinner experience while visiting the area! All our dishes were outstanding and the service was excellent! Large wine selection available.

Food and service were fantastic! Menu is extensive. I had Ravioli with spinach, husband had veal picata, cousin had sand dabs and another cousin have the baked ziti. The evening was amazing! We are going back on the 14th of November for our Anniversary. Thank you for a special evening.
