Canonita Street Taqueria

My second meal ticket was used up at Canonita and I got two birria tacos and one chicken one. The birria had flavorful meat atop the corn masa taco, radishes thinly sliced gave it an extra kick. The chicken one, while moist and tender was the meat, it was also not terribly flavorful. We received this tear-shaped plastic container of mildly hot sauce to use on the tacitos and it helped out a bit. I was so hungry I did not bother taking a picture.

The esquites were not good. They add extra ingredientes that are not usually in an esquite. The carne asada tacos are also not good, they use ground beef.

Ordered 2 beef tacos. They were extremely small and meat had no flavor at all. Trifecta Nachos were at the very least mediocre. Guacamole had no flavor, cheese dip wasn't great either. With 3 drinks: came up to almost $60. Not worth the money or time.

So I read all the reviews and I agree with some of them. . The portions are a bit small for the price. But it's Lake Nona. 3 tacos for $10 is a normal price for tacos anywhere. I would order again. The food is just right for the location. I would say I like my tacos spicier.

The absolute worst tacos I’ve ever had. It’s clear they don’t prioritize in making quality food. It’s expensive and disappointing. Don’t make the mistake of buying them.
