Cancun Mexican Grill

I had the most unfortunate and confusing experience at normally one of my favorite Mexican eatery’s today. I stopped in around 2:30pm for a late lunch this Sunday. There was one waiter and one other man I saw working there, not that I expected it to be booming on a Sunday afternoon but definitely didn’t make up for the lack of service being that I was one of four customers in the entire restaurant. Walked in and wasn’t greeted. Waited a minute to be seated. I waited several minutes for a drink order and then after receiving chips and salsa shortly after i waited 15 more minutes for my drink and saw dirty tables around, no signs of staff, and no drinks. I had a highly disappointing experience with Cancun Mexican Grill while staying in a hotel in Chippewa Falls. I ordered very overpriced fajitas through DoorDash, only to receive them without shells. When I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, I spoke with someone claiming to be the manager who shockingly blamed the DoorDash driver for supposedly taking the shells. This was absurd and unprofessional. I requested a refund since we couldn't eat the fajitas without the shells, but the manager eventually said they would deliver the shells within five minutes. They never arrived. I ended up ordering shells from Walmart delivery because I didn't want to take my young granddaughter out in the cold. To top it all off, the fajitas were utterly flavorless--I've never tasted such bland Mexica

Will not be returning. Had a Fajitas salad...no sour cream, no guacamole, no cheese, the tomatos were cooked with the peppers and onions, crazy. $16.00 pretty sad. My husband had Steak Fajitas, again, no sour cream, Pico or guacamole. That is standard, $22.00. Sorry but u need to really step it up. Oh, i ordered guacamole and got about 1/4 cup for $10.00. 😟

This place has awesome food that is served very quickly. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly.

I am very much unhappy that I asked to speak with a manager and was told one was not available. I asked for the manager next to my server who was rolling silverware at the bar. I asked for the sugar when we ordered the food. I noticed him sitting, so I walked over to get my sugar from another employee. He then pointed to the employee where it was located. Behind the same bar he was rolling silverware. Hey if you are cut and doing side work, don’t take the table. Or don’t give bad service just because you’re ready to go home. But who am I to assume, maybe you didn’t hear me. Ok . We order three plates and an extra chorizo taco. The only edible warm item was my boyfriend’s chicken thing.
