Customer Reviews
The food here was great, but even better was the customer service! My friend got the seafood boil, but I'm vegetarian & they were extremely accommodating and offered a lot of suggestions. Staff was super friendly and sociable. They wanted to make sure that we had an amazing experience not just a good meal. They knew we were from Canada, so obviously not regular customers, but tried to make us feel extremly welcomed. They showed us around and offered to take photos for us. My vegetarian options were good and my friend's seafood boil was supreme. Prices were fantastic & portions huge! Should we ever find ourselves in columbus again, we will definitely visit!
Not only was the food amazing but the service was amazing too!! One of the owners was there and was very kind and everything was fresh and made to order! You have to get the boudin balls and the beignets! Their homemade sauce is also amazing!
I've seen this place for years but never thought to stop but decided on a whim to give it a shot. I am so glad I did! I had a shrimp po boy and a side of red beans n rice and it was 100x better than the one I had in New Orleans years ago. The bread was soft and fresh and the shrimp were perfectly seasoned. The beans n rice had so much flavor. I'm excited to go back and try everything else.
I was raised in Louisiana and rarely enjoy Cajun food outside the state. This place will forever be an exception. We shared crab balls at the start of the meal and found them tender and flavorful. They were served with a spicy homemade dipping sauce with balanced heat and flavor. My wife had fried catfish with slaw, fries, and hush puppies. The fish was fried crispy on the outside and tender in the middle with a tasty batter that added just the right kick. I had a cup of the seafood gumbo and the shrimp etouffee. The gumbo had a rich brown roux with shrimp and sausage served over rice. The shrimp etouffee was served over rice with garlic bread and a small ear of corn. We ended the meal with French quarter beignets that created the perfect compliment to the rich, delicious meal. Recomm
We found this on Google and thought we would give it a try. I had the feast boil with crab, shrimp, crayfish, potatoes and sausage. It was so good and filling. The spice was spot on. We will going back again. Also fried dill spears are awesome.
