Camellia Mexican Restaurant

A local Tex Mex place lilely small family owned as the staff was very nice and professional. Great food, fair prices. Great staff. Atmosphere is rough when you compete with big corporations but if you live Tex Mex its a compromise you will make. Loved it.

I was doing a job in town and someone took me here for lunch. I wasn't really impressed with anything. The chips were a thick yellow corn variety and the salsa was just an average mild canned tomato style. I ordered the Lunch #2 which was the Beef Enchiladas.The enchiladas, rice, & beans were all just average. Nothing bad but nothing really good either. Service was pretty quick and efficient. Would I go back? Only if someone else was paying. LOL 😂

Camellia special was pretty good but my wife's shrimp salad was embarrassing small. Restaurant was very dirty (blinds and fans).

I stopped here as a last resort for something good to eat while in town...I was honestly shocked at how good this was.I read recent reviews and decided to give #30 a try.Definitely want be my last visit. I've never taste refried beans seasoned that well.🥣 Everything was on point 👍 I even had leftovers from this meal. The crispness from taco shellwas superb!

The owners are in our wonderful little friend circle. We’ve never taken an opportunity to eat at their restaurant as we live hours apart. They are kind, humble and grateful; I’m glad to call them my friends. For all the reviews of how the waiter shouts or is “short” with people: did you ever stop to think there may be a hearing deficit? This not only makes conversing with others difficult; but, also, it makes speaking short and quick. Before judging someone, think first. And, more importantly, remember even your worst day is better than someone else’s best day.
