Cambridge House Bed and Breakfast

We had a terrific stay at Cambridge House B & B. The proprioters are delightful, their B & B is a classic & classy place to stay. It is a beautiful place, the breakfasts were incredible. Will be going back, for sure. It is close enough to places to eat & drink, sites and parks. We had a great time in Cambridge and surrounding areas. Highly recommend staying there. Wonderful experience!!!!

We spent a truly comfortable 2 nights at the Cambridge House. The room was quaint and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. The location is very convenient to both restaurants and sights. Highly recommended for adults. The hosts are fascinating individuals who have great professional experiences as well as friendly hosts. Just delightful visit.

Enjoyed a lovely 2-night stay in the comfortable, spacious and immaculate Dorchester Room. Cambridge House is a gorgeous historic house with period antiques and beautiful artwork collected by wonderful innkeepers Jim and Marianne from their travels all over the world. They are very friendly and interesting hosts to talk to. They prepared a delicious healthy breakfast every morning and made every effort to keep all guests comfortable during our stay. The house is perfectly located with an easy 5-minute walk to the lighthouse Marina and to local restaurants and shops in downtown Cambridge. Enjoyed meeting their sweet animals too. Will definitely be back!

We stayed at this lovely B&B the last weekend in September 2024, and also about a year before. To start off, the house is a large, elegant Victorian, on one of the most beautiful streets in Cambridge, MD, lined with homes dating back to the 19th and 18th century. Indeed, I think there are very few more beautiful streets in the country.||The house is in excellent shape, and furnished with fine antiques and/or period-appropriate furniture. (No IKEA here!) In both cases, the rooms were lovely, superbly clean, and well appointed, with a spindle bed, dressers, Victorian chairs, attractive mirrors (ideally, a little bigger would have been better), a more-than adequate closet and a gas fire place that looked like we could use it. The bathrooms in the rooms we used (first floor) are small,

We really enjoyed our recent weekend at Cambridge House. Among the unique features were our beautifully decorated bedroom with antique furniture, the claw foot tub, and the wonderful collection of paintings the hosts had collected from all their international tours of duty. As B&B enthusiasts, we especially appreciated the creative gourmet breakfasts which were among the best we have sampled. Hosts Marianne and Jim make you feel very welcome and, at your choice, will share fascinating stories of their travels all around the world. The house is conveniently located within walking distance of historic Cambridge which boasts great restaurants like Blue Ruin and Vintage 414, and unique boutiques. We also enjoyed the sunsets, the short walk to the lighthouse and the beautiful waterfront.
