Camas Country Bakery and Store

Just about the sweetest place in the Willamette Valley to have a cup of coffee and pastry. You can have your coffee/pastry and sit in the historic little schoolhouse. They also host interesting talks.

Beautiful farm and bakery, selling home grown produce and flours, including some exotic types. Lots of delectable baked goods, but more importantly, Frankie the cat is the main attraction. Frankie is the sweetest, softest most lovely boy, who adores, cuddles, pets and lap time. He was the highlight of our trip and sat on my husband's lap for 20 minutes, purring his big fluffy orange head off. This cat is worth visiting, and it's a beautiful place with very nice owners, so you should come out even if you're not a cat fanatic.

Visited upon a recommendation from a fellow sourdough baker. We made it later in the afternoon so didn’t get the boring freshness but our cookies and cinnamon roll were tasty! They were friendly and willing to answer my many questions about the flour they use and what the differences between them were. It’s off the beaten path but most good things are! It was worth the visit!

The maple pecan scones was a treat and the service was quite friendly. I bought some low gluten flour and am looking forward to using it for biscuits and pie crusts. There was a downpour and so I didn't bother taking a picture of the church on the property, but it was festively decorated for the winter season. Totally worth the drive

Cutest little bakery in the country, EVER! I could have just sat there forever, just to soak it all in. As I sat and enjoyed a cup of coffee, I was loved on by the resident kitty, I watched all the baked goods disappear by local folks. Many ordered the soup, potato and leak, and took it to eat in the school house. I decided to try a bowl of soup and it came with a tasty piece of bread and softened butter. It was perfect for a rainy day, and hearty enough to satisfy me as I traveled to catch a flight in Portland. The shop has a large amount of locally grown grains, eggs,and dog treats. They also had locally hand-made cross-stitched towels, cards, and other things. Donna is a gem!
