Calypso Coffee Bar

I finally had the chance to try Calypso Coffee Bar in Apopka and I’m so glad I did! It’s a wonderful family-owned Guatemalan coffee shop just minutes from my house, and everything about it was great. They offer a wide variety of coffee and tea options, and you can really taste the quality. They also have small brunch specials like sandwiches, which are perfect for a quick and delicious bite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everyone was so kind. You can truly feel that it’s family owned and run with care. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Calypso Coffee is an Apopka gem!💎 I dropped by for a pick-me-up after a relaxing salt therapy session at The Apopka Salt Room. Upon walking in, I was greeted with a smile and a cheerful welcome. One sip of their farm-to-cup coffee, and I am hooked. Their coffee is transported directly from their family farm in Guatemala and locally roasted. The flavor is fresh, smooth, and clean. Not a hint of the chemical taste you get from commercial locations or grocery stores. If you appreciate that fresh, on-vacation-in-the-tropics taste of coffee that you can otherwise only get when you leave the country, you NEED to stop by Calypso Coffee and have a sip! Love this place! Been coming for a couple years now and it’s one of the few cafes in this area that I regularly come back to. The coffee is great and there are always different rotating specialty drinks and items that are creative and delicious. The girls who work here are also always so wonderful. Here’s the “Edward” cold iced thing latte I got as part of the valentines specialty menu as well as a Mallorca ham and cheese sandwich. Both delicious!

Literally the best coffee I’ve ever had! The owner Natasha is sooo sweet! She told us their coffee is sourced from their family-owned farm in Guatemala. They’ve been in the coffee business for 100 years. If you love smooth, sweet espresso, and an Instagrammable vibe, this is your spot.

drove 30 minutes to try out their coffee & food, ABSOLUTELY worth the drive. such a wide menu with great quality and even better customer service, was greeted by the owners and his two wonderful daughters. had a calypso coffee & a aphrodites love potion with a açaí bowl and a bacon sandwich. Will be thinking of this coffee for the next few weeks!! 💜
