Calvillo Mexican Grill

I tried to take pictures before I started eating, but the food was too good! The enchilada sauce is made in-house, and it is sooooooo good! We have always enjoyed Cavillos, and I think they just keep getting better. It is hard to pick a favorite, but I think our family would go with cheese enchiladas, stuffed poblano, tamales, and beans and rice. There are so many things I want to try, but I order the same thing every time, because I just love the enchiladas. Anytime anyone gets sick, I rush down to get the chicken soup, it is great too.

The service was good. The dishes came out a little strange because everything came out in pieces. My husband got the fajitas before he got any of the sides. I got my enchilada long before I got my shrimp taco. The Enchilada had been sitting under the heat lamp, a little too long. The end of it was hard and crunchy and you can see where certain cheeses that burnt onto the plate. The margarita was very good.

Awesome food. Swift service. Typically cold in here, so bring a sweater or light jacket. Drinks delicious and strong enough. I'd recommend.

The food was hot, prepared to order, delicious, and we received our food within a reasonable amount of time. I've been pleased with every meal that I've had there. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I plan to visit again soon.

I got the fajitas, didn’t come out sizzling, barely even hot, the margarita tasted like it came from a bottle under the cabinet with mostly melted ice and no alcohol. The server hounded me to death, I had no peace eating alone as she continued to come back over and over again after I made it clear to leave me the hell alone. I’ll never be back
