We ordered a cake that was supposed to be Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. Cons: It was incorrectly colored, missing wings and didn't have the cutie mark. My daughter couldn't recognize the character. The cake was supposed to be rainbow tie-dye inside but it was just a strangely and sparingly dripped food coloring in a tastless, cheap box cake mix. The icing had a terrible taste and a thick texture that left a residue in your mouth. Pros: the cake was ordered and finished the next day in a very timely manner. The message on the cake was written along the side edge and didn't interfere with the picture. The box in came in was nice. Customer service in the ordering process was seamless. Cakes by David has the best tasting cake in the area! They did an incredible job with a very ornate cake for my daughter's wedding, and have been able to provide any crazy thing we asked for on special occasions. They are the best!

HORRIBLE! I reached out to them to inquire about getting a birthday cake made for my mother and they never reached back out. Highly unprofessional. Don't waste your time. Try other bakeries on the Shore who are more professional with better tasting cakes such as Classic Cakes, Cake Art, and Sugar Rush.

Today I called to inquire about their cakes, was very interested in what I had review on their site, but I asked about how to cut the cakes and immediately she assumed I was going to get someone else to make it. I was offended. Just to ask a question about cutting?? You can go on the web to find out how to cut a 3 tier cake. The lady who answered the phone was rude. I asked about the filling in the cakes to see what they offered, I don't know what they have and it is not listed on their site. I gave her every opportunity to tell me what they could do, what they had but she seemed uninterested in my inquiry.
