We got the 6-inch Chocolate Layer Cake. Hands down the best chocolate cake I’ve had to date. Rich, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet — every bite tasted intentional and high quality. Ordering online was incredibly easy and convenient, which I really appreciated. On top of that, the owners are genuinely professional and friendly. You can tell they care about both their product and their customers, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for an exceptional chocolate cake, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Cakery Atelier creates the most delicious and stunning baked goods. They generously donated their incredible treats for our Seattle Animal Foundation Gala Dessert Dash—and they were the first to go! Beyond their amazing creations, Luis and John are truly wonderful humans who care deeply about their community (and animals!). Thank you both for helping make our event a success and for sharing your kindness—and your baked brilliance—throughout the Seattle Tacoma area. Highly recommend! PS - I have not taken one of their pastry classes yet but I cannot wait to try!

Ordered a chocolate caramel cake and it was divine! Exactly what a cake should be, and exquisitely decorated as well. Everything I've gotten from here has been superb, on the level of a true French patisserie. If you're looking for an elevated dessert in Tacoma, this is the place!

I just stopped in and had the chance to meet the bakers, and I have to say — love it! I’m a huge chocolate cake fanatic and try chocolate cake everywhere I go. My mom bought a slice of the chocolate ganache cake for me, and it was by far the best chocolate cake we’ve ever had. The cake was rich, moist, and perfectly balanced with the ganache. My mom does not like chocolate at all — she usually avoids it — but she ended up eating half of her slice! Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back 🥰

We ordered the carrot cake for a birthday celebration and it was hands down the best carrot cake we've ever had. I am not much of a carrot cake fan myself, but I absolutely LOVED this cake! The thin layers of cake had the perfect blend of spices, which balanced beautifully with the buttercream frosting and roasted walnuts. The thin layers of frosting were decadent and sweet but not overpowering, making it the perfect blend of sweet and savory with a hint of spice. The candied carrot slices and walnuts on top gave it the extra special finishing touch. An absolute gorgeous cake inside and out leaving us craving more with each and every bite! I can't wait to try more of what Cakery Atelier has to offer.
