Cajun Fry Products

As someone who grew up in the greater New Orleans area, I moved from Louisiana in 2024, confident that I would easily be able to cook most Louisiana cuisine with no problem. Now I have a new baby and time has gotten away from me to the point that I have little of it for cooking. My dad visited us recently, and brought a bag of Cajun Spicy Jambalaya & Pastalaya. Holy cow, these products slap! We cooked ‘em up, added some trinity, sausage & chicken, and I couldn’t tell the difference between the Cajun Spicy jambalaya and my uncle’s pot of jambalaya that he cooks all day at our annual get-together. Naturally we ordered a whole variety pack! Cajun Spicy you have true believers here in the Southwest!

I order the mild and hot jambalaya mix and have been keeping a supply on hand for personal use and gifts for about 5 years. A neighbor originally from Baton Rouge served this very authentic dinner to us and I asked for the recipe. It was fabulous with chicken, conecuh sausage and shrimp. She confessed that is was a mix (Cajun fry jambalaya mix) and only added the meat. Another friend makes it and will add celery, hot peppers, and onion. It is easy and tastes delicious without being too “hot”. It is spicy and flavorful but not too hot. Love it.

Ordered mine right after watching Dat Louisana Life. Got my order of two buckets today. Fried up shrimp with it and it was great. The flavor was perfect. Not too hot but still had a little bite. Ready to try it with other meats. Especially some chicken. Definitely going to recommend it to my friends.
