Cajun Express

Service and fish was Amazing!!! Air was not working very well at all. It was too hot to finish eating so we got To Go Plates! They have a new air conditioner but haven’t hooked it up yet. Again the Fish was SUPER!!! My pieces were very small and my husband’s pieces were huge! They do need to clean the salt and pepper shakers they are sticky. Will be back for more of that amazing Fish!!!

Location: about five minutes from the interstate. nothing surrounds it. Looks like two double-wides put together attached to a small house. Do NOT judge the food based on appearance. Or do, because you'd except momma's cooking from here. Food: I ordered the Cajun express. Essentially a sampler of catfish, shrimp, boiled and fried crawfish, red beans and rice, effoute, momma's pie, hush puppies, and jumbo. It was a great sampler plate since I live eight hours away. Heavy on the cajun seasoning, it was fresh, hot, and a hell of an experience. I loved what I ordered and could easily feed two people. husband ordered the ribeye + potato. He doesn't eat seafood and this was about the only option available to him besides a pork ribeye. The meat quality, seasoning, and taste were decent. 1/3 of

Gumbo was delicious. Crawfish was amazing. My husband made me throw mines away and I have been mad at that since. 😒 I really want to call up and have them overnight more. Very nice people. I was the only person of color and I was welcomed.

The owners here are very kind and generous and the food is phenomenal! I am a truck driver and I was driving a brand new school bus to deliver from factory in NC to customer in CA. I broke down in their parking lot and they were so kind and invited me inside and gave me a delicious meal for free! I had their fried catfish, fried shrimp and hush puppies. The food was so flavorful and the fish was so tender it just melts in your mouth! If you ever have the opportunity to visit and eat here you will not be disappointed! Thank you again for feeding me and allowing me a safe place to wait for a tow truck!

The fish was awesome! Also their chocolate dessert was soooo good! Service was great!
