Customer Reviews
If you’re looking for a laid-back spot to satisfy a Po'boy craving, The Cajun Corner is a solid contender. Here is a breakdown of our recent visit: The Atmosphere The vibe is exactly what you’d expect from a neighborhood Cajun joint—very casual with themed decor that doesn't try too hard. It’s spacious enough to accommodate a solo lunch or a large group, and while there is a bar area and several TVs for sports fans, the environment remains relaxed. Bonus points for available parking, which can be a rare find in the Uptown area. The Food The menu is a bit of a hit-or-miss journey, so choose wisely: The Hits: * Shrimp Po’boy: The absolute star of the show. It was stuffed to the brim and topped with pickled veggies and slaw. The Bread: Perfectly executed—soft and airy on the inside wit
I love Cajun food and love that there are two options in Uptown for it! Cajun Corner and Ruth’s Creole! The service at Cajun Corner is quick! I think everything is affordable and delicious. I have had several different things, but the last time I went they had an alligator penne pasta special and it was spicy and so good! Had gizzards as an appetizer— also great.
My husband and I have gone here multiple times now and I've enjoyed everything including the gumbo, Étouffée, Po' boys and loaded crawfish fries. 😋 I feel like The food is priced fairly. We usually spend about $30 on dinner and soft drinks for 2 people. In the winter it's a bit cold in there so I like to dress cozy.
Food was great. Haven’t been in about 2 years… reasonably priced and food was hot. Place is clean. Was checked on from the bartender and the manager. Id like to come back to get the recommended loaded blackened fish !
My wife and I stumbled on this gem last week. Wow! The good was fantastic and the prices were GREAT for cajun food. I have already recommended this place to a few friends and we will certainly return!
