While traveling from CO to NM we had the pleasure of stopping at this beautiful cafe for the first time and got delicious coffee, food and lovely conversation with the owner. Their menu has lots of options for goodies, food and drinks, we ordered americanos, the green chile chicken croissant, salmon lox bagel with capers, a chocolate treat and a waffle for our toddler. Portions were good, everything was flavorful and the coffee was amazing. While traveling we always like to stretch our legs by walking the plaza and this cafe is such a wonderful addition to the area offering much more than food but also live music, gifts and art. I highly recommend travelers to drive the extra minutes to take in the beauty of the town and support small local businesses.
First, kudos to the young lady working – she was incredibly friendly and seemed to be managing everything alone, which was clearly too much. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and drinks. The food itself was shockingly bad. My tuna sandwich was inedible; the tuna was green and looked old, and the bread wasn't even toasted. My daughter's turkey sandwich was utterly basic to compare it to a sandwich prison sandwich and my boyfriend's salmon bagel had barely any salmon, tasting distinctly like it was from a can. I would also like to add that the sandwiches came with the side of Romain lettuce.. (no chips, no pickle) $7.00! Our 'large' drinks were also surprisingly small. What truly ruined the visit was the owner's behavior. While her only employee was swamped, the owner was relaxed, sitti
Take your time here. Enjoy the local art, handmade goods, and local quirky goodness. Super friendly staff and plenty of things to shop for in the attached mercantile.
This place just opened, I was in town had to stop in . Very unique coffee shop on the historic Plaza. Large area to sit and relax or meet a friend. They do have cake, pie , cookie and pastries. Variety of coffees and flavors was impressive. Lots of items for sale, art, jewelry, books , furniture and decorations. Prices were good, I will definitely be back when I’m in town. Stop by and support your small business!
Absolutely extraordinary baked goods. I’m nibbling on my apple tart-like delicacy right now. Fresh apples encased in one of the lightest, tastiest crusts I’ve ever enjoyed Super friendly owners; great service Highly recommended
