Cafe Au Lait makes an appearance most Friday nights at our salsa class. The owners are lovely people and the food is delicious. The beignets are perfectly airy and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar. The jambalaya and red beans and rice remind of New Orleans. But oddly enough, the big winner is the green chile cheeseburger and fries. They have absolutely nailed N.O. and New Mexico food truck favorites.
Great place to get a taste of Louisiana in New Mexico! Don’t walk, run to this place if you love all thing Cajun
I admit that we were really hungry, but dang that was one good burger!
