I placed an order online for 2 items and received a text saying that my order was ready to be picked up. when I got there to pick up my order they told me that they didn’t have what I ordered available. I received no phone call, no text or no email to tell me that they didn’t have what I ordered. The girl proceeded to give me the second item that I had ordered only, the empanada. The empanada was tiny and didn’t have real chicken in it and she charged me $2.57 for it. All she said was we reimbursed you for the soup. I waited 30mins to receive the text telling me my food was ready for pickup for it to be just a tiny empanada. So disappointed and the service was horrible.
Massive portions, tasty food and a variety of Colombian bakery items and drinks. Private parking lot is a plus.
I went there to get Colombian baked goods because another Colombian restaurant and bakery recently closed in the area. I was told that the baker from the restaurant that closed now works in Cafeto. The recipe was not the same for the Pan de Queso. It was more like Pan de Seco. I was assured that the pan de queso was fresh from that morning (not true). It felt like I was eating saw dust it was so dry and tasteless. The atmosphere is more of a dive bar than anything. I can’t believe they charge $3 for these pan de quesos and $8 for braided bread.
Went there in the morning with some breakfast. They had a wide variety on their menu, so we started with some eggs and what not the service was great. The waiter was very friendly and very informative. One issue was nobody in English. So you gotta know Spanish if you're gonna eat there. Food came out. It was great. My daughter had some chocolate milk and it was delicious. She loved it. We like our eggs as well. Be sure to specify what kind of eggs you want so that they get it right. We enjoyed our time there.
⸻ ⭐☆☆☆☆ I visited this restaurant after seeing positive reviews and Facebook postings, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The empanadas tasted old and greasy, and the juice was very watered down. Although our waitress was kind and tried her best, she got our order wrong twice. It’s also worth noting that this is not really a family-oriented restaurant as advertised — it felt more like a bar/nightclub with a tacky ambiance. Overall, it did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend it for families or anyone looking for authentic, fresh food.
