Cafe Yumm! - East 13th

One of my favorite places to get lunch, their dishes are consistent, the food is fresh and delicious, and the staff are always friendly and nice. Service is quick, and the dining area is kept clean. Spicy Chicken Teriyaki is my favorite meal, but I like to get the Yumm sauce on the side because at times they can add a little too much to the servings. Great place.

Okay, Cafe Yumm is seriously my comfort food go-to. I’m obsessed with the Yumm! Bow. It hits different every time. It’s literally just brown rice, beans, and the iconic Yumm! Sauce but that sauce is the main character. The vibes here are super chill, the food is fresh, and it’s the perfect healthy-ish meal. The staff is super friendly and it’s a great spot to sit down and enjoy a meal!

I’ve enjoyed Cafe Yumm at other Oregon locations a number of times, so I was really surprised by my experience at the Eugene campus spot. I ordered the same large bowl I always get, but the portion here was maybe half the size. It was incredibly bland compared to what I’m used to, and definitely not worth the price. For how expensive it was, the meal felt like an absolute rip-off. Not sure what’s going on with this location, but the quality and value were nowhere near the standard I’ve had elsewhere. I hope they address the consistency issues because right now, I wouldn’t return.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have never been greeted with friendlier staff in my life. The food was exceptional! Above all else, management was competent, efficient, and friendly. I would recommend everyone try this restaurant out. You won’t regret it.

Had a tasty lunch there and had fun people watching. Cute atmosphere and friendly staff. I got the edamame bowl with chicken and extra nori on top! So good!
