Cafe Verona

I had a fantastic lunch experience at this café. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better from the start. I ordered the tuna sandwich with fries, and my food was ready within 15 minutes — perfect for a quick lunch break. The portions were generous, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. The tuna sandwich was delicious and satisfying, and the fries were cooked perfectly. The coffee was just as impressive — rich, smooth, and a great addition to the meal. If you’re looking for a quick lunch spot that offers great quality food, excellent coffee, and warm, friendly service, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I stopped for a coffee and quick bite to eat and where absolutely amazed with our food. We had a BLT with roasted tomato soup that was absolutely amazing. House made scones that are delicious and some of the best customer service I have ever had plus delicious coffee too. I Highly recommend stopping by and giving them a try and exercise it for yourself. Very polite and great people here.

This is a hidden gem in Modesto. They are in the Hospice building and worth finding. Yes, it's the same family that owns Verona's Cucina and Verona 18. I had the flatbed pepperoni pizza, and my daughter had the club sandwich with fries. Sit outside and enjoy the sound of the fountain or inside with a big screen TV showing videos of Verona Italy. After a medical procedure on my back, my wife and I went to Cafe Verona for lunch. It was after 1pm and there were 4 ladies at a table. This was my wife's first time here and we shared a Club Sandwich with Fries. Yummy, so good, the fries are really good. Thank you to Jaime and Edwarda Alderete for opening this hidden gem.

Great service and hospitality. The white chocolate mocha and almond roca latte were delicious. And the roasted tomato soup and BLT were to die for. Thank you so much!!! Highly recommended

So worth going to, wish I live/work closer so it could be my regular breakfast and lunch spot. Really great service and great quality of food AND great value. Truly hard to find all 3 these days. Highly recommend!!
